Dividing the Pie: Hunger Banquet

The Hunger Banquet is an interactive event that uses food—in this case, pizza—to highlight global and local issues of hunger and inequality. Participants are divided into groups that represent different income levels, and the distribution of pizza reflects how food is shared in our world. The experience challenges us to think critically about access to resources while encouraging conversation on how we can take action against hunger in our community.
