The Environmental Club at Georgia Gwinnett College seeks to educate students of all disciplines about different facets of the environment and ways to sustainably care for them. The club also seeks to provide information to environmental science majors under the Natural Sciences, Principles of Sustainability, and Physics concentrations that will help them navigate their environmental science career paths. This will be done by providing creative activities, intriguing speaker events, and the incorporation of academic knowledge acquired in class with real-world applications to promote the protection of the environment. Through active participation, students shall have diverse opportunities to discuss, explore, and interact with the mechanisms of the environment and acquire high-level social and leadership skills, which directly contribute and relate to GGC's four core values.
